Frequently Asked Questions

We are currently anticipating an in-person event. However, we have not ruled out the possibility of a virtual event should Illinois event guidelines change. We will continue to monitor COVID-19 guidelines and make appropriate accommodations to ensure a safe environment for all of our guests.

Under the State of Illinois Phase 4 Reopening Guidelines, social events are limited to a lesser of 50 guests OR 50% of overall room capacity. Our event will be utilizing two separate ballrooms, with a total capacity of 340 guests, to allow for social distancing. We will be limiting our event to 100 guests, which will be divided among the two spacious ballrooms to ensure a safe environment for everyone to enjoy. Each ballroom is equipped with TV’s where we will live stream the presentations and awards, so each guest will have a clear view of the ceremony while maintaining social distancing.

Business/ Cocktail attire is recommended.

We will be serving a South Asian dinner, which will feature vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Additional details to follow.

Alcoholic beverages will not be provided at the Golden Stethoscope Awards. However, the event venue has an onsite bar where guests may purchase alcoholic beverages and bring them into the event.

Any students in a graduate or professional program, not limited to allopathic medicine, osteopathic medicine, podiatry, physical therapy, biomedical sciences, PhD, physician assistant, etc. Residents and fellows of all specialties may participate as well.
